Google Play Music service is expanding its data plan for the family as well. The company has reported this service at the big event, it held in San Francisco. As per the new data plan, Google Play Music will be available for $14.99, under subscription for the family.

Therefore, Google Inc is focused on arriving at a service price which will match that of rival music service player, Apple Music. The iOS music service too is available at the same price of $14.99. Apple Music also offers the package for six people. While the best listening experience for Apple Music is best on iOS devices, Google Play Music is well received on cross-platforms as well. Therefore, Google Play Music has an advantage here. If the six users of the family using different OS devices, that is some use an iPad, another Samsung Galaxy smartphone and yet another a Google Nexus, the listening experience with Play Music remains the same. A similar experience is not possible with Apple Music.

Google Inc is perhaps the most competitively priced of all the Music service players, apart from Apple Music, currently. Closest rival, Spotify does not offer much for the family of users. It only offers discounts for additional Spotify accounts.
Will Play Music win more listeners from Spotify?
